Georgia reports 5,128 new cases of coronavirus, 49 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 49,189 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 29,357 antigen tests and 19,832 PCR tests.

 

As a result of the testing, 5,128 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 466,326.

 

As of August 11, the daily positive rate is 10.43%, for the last 14 days - 9.63% and for 7 days - 10.52%.

 

In the last 24 hours, 3,310 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 412,420. 49 new cases of coronavirus deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 6,279 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

Out of 5,128 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 2,236 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 811, Imereti - 537, Kvemo Kartli - 246, Shida Kartli - 280, Guria - 106, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 287, Kakheti - 398, Mtskheta- Mtianeti -101, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 102, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 24.
