11.08.21 14:40

If the same increasing trend of the epidemic continues for the next 7-10 days, of course, we will have to mobilize additional alternative hotels, there is a discussion about what will be the field solution in this case, which we have never used before, - said the Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia told reporters.

According to her, the hospital sector operates under maximum load.

Asked in which case the country may arrange the field hospitals, Gabunia explains that today "it is very difficult to talk about it."

"8000 is our maximum. This is the number of beds that we can allocate from the hospital sector. The number of hotels will be added to this. It is very difficult to talk about it today, it will be at the level of assumptions, but the next day will present a picture of it", -said Gabunia.
