Starting from tomorrow, wearing a facemask in an open space, where more than 5 people gather will be mandatory.


According to Giorgi Ghibradze, Chief of the Operational Staff at the Interagency Coordination Council, the decision was made due to the deterioration of the epidemic situation.

 

"Recently, there is a tendency of deteriorating epidemiological situation. Based on the analysis of the situation, the Interagency Coordinating Council discussed the imposition of certain restrictive measures and made the following decision - as you know, wearing a facemask is mandatory in closed and open spaces in crowded places, such as bus stops, markets, public transport, etc. According to the decision of the Council, from tomorrow it will be mandatory to wear a facemask in open space everywhere, where more than 5 people gather", - Ghibradze said.
