The fact that "Dream" has sneaked out from the agreement and is trying to avoid its obligations is not really due to the parties that did not sign. This is due to the fact that the Georgian Dream is an irresponsible and cowardly government, - Paata Manjgaladze, MP of "Strategy Builder" responds to the annulment of the April 19 agreement by the ruling team.
According to him, "Georgian Dream" is running away from the agreement because it does not have enough support under the 43% threshold.
"We warned the United National Movement and other parties who did not sign the April 19 agreement that we were giving an additional excuse to the Georgian Dream. But the fact that "Dream" has sneaked out from the agreement and is trying to avoid its obligations is not really due to the parties that did not sign. This is due to the fact that the Georgian Dream is an irresponsible and cowardly government that is afraid of the people's decision. They are running away from this agreement because they don't have enough support under the 43% threshold", - said Paata Manjgaladze.
According to Manjgaladze, before the local self-government elections, the Georgian Dream is trying to connect all the opposition parties to one party and offer such a black-and-white choice to the society.
"Georgian Dream has a well-tested strategy when it replicates hatred and people find it difficult to choose between opposition parties amid polarization. They try to connect all the parties to one party and offer such a black-and-white choice to the public. We fight to make sure there is a third choice and people can let go of their fears and make choices that way. Our main priority is not to confront, but to solve the problems that people have", - said Paata Manjgaladze.
