Zurab Japaridze, the leader of Girchi - More Freedom, is leaving the Parliament of Georgia. Japardze wrote it on his Facebook page after the ruling party revealed that the April 19 political agreement was annulled.
According to Japaridze, since the agreement no longer exists, there is no "obligation."
"Georgian Dream withdrew from the agreement of April 19 only because they saw that they had a zero chance of getting 43%. They withdrew after violating every clause in this agreement, a week after the visit of the author of this document, the President of the European Council. The appeal that the "National Movement" did not join the agreement is absurd. This agreement was not made for the "National Movement"; the implementation of this agreement was important for the country - well, that's what the Americans and Europeans thought. Withdrawal from this agreement means rejection of the Euro-Atlantic future of this country. It has been proven once again that these people are liars. An agreement with them has no value, just like with the Kremlin.
If someone still does not realize what is happening - the dictatorship is established, slowly and arrogantly.
How can we not allow this - it should be the only thought for any decent person today," Japaridze wrote.
"Georgian Dream" announced the cancellation of the Charles Michel agreement.
