Avakov and the Armenian lobby removed from the division of Ukrainian land

23.07.21 8:15

"Avakov left to return" under this heading in the Russian edition of "Vzglyad" (https://vz.ru/opinions/2021/7/17/1109332.html) an article was published after Arsen Avakov resigned from his post head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. This, like many other materials published at about the same time in the Russian media, predicts Avakov's "triumphant return", and many see him as almost a "Ukrainian Pinochet":

“Zelensky is an ideal candidate to be scrapped. The president has already managed to completely lose the trust of those who elected him as the president of the world, trying on the role of the “second Poroshenko,” but never made friends on the flank of the Ukrainian nationalists, although he flirted with them with Russophobic initiatives. Now Zelensky may have to implement the peace policy promised back in 2019, but not voluntarily, but out of hand. Having assumed all the risks of "zrada" (betrayal in Ukrainian), Zelensky will leave. It is then that people will remember about Arsen Avakov - an ideal candidate for putting things in order in a seething country”.

However, it is simply ridiculous for people who are well acquainted with Ukrainian realities to read how many Russian political analysts, including those associated with the Armenian lobby, begin to predict that Avakov's resignation will become a chance for him to become an all-powerful Ukrainian dictator, president, prime minister, and the like. It is felt that people did not live in Ukraine and I don’t know of that sharp rejection of Avakov by all strata of society.

In general, the opinion of Ukrainians regarding the ways of the country's development may differ, but they have one thing in common - Avakov is hated by everyone in Ukraine. Moreover, he demonstrates so much disdain for this country that he did not even bother to learn the Ukrainian language. Therefore, he has no and cannot have any chances to get elected anywhere. Moreover, after the resignation of Avakov, a "purge" of all Avakov's people in all structures immediately began.

To understand the situation in Ukraine on the eve of the resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and what serious forces, on the one hand, trying to keep him in power and, on the other hand, remove him, you need to figure out what period Ukraine is going through today. And Ukraine today opened the market for agricultural land.

Almost all world analysts are confident that shortly the most important strategic commodity in the world will not be oil or gas, but food. Accordingly, the role of those countries on the territory of which there are favorable climatic conditions for the development of agriculture and the availability of significant agricultural land will acquire no less importance than countries rich in hydrocarbons and other minerals. And here Ukraine has no equal in the world.

70% of the territory of Ukraine is occupied by arable farmland. Moreover, most of it is black soil. 25% of the world's chernozems are concentrated in Ukraine. And I must say that in terms of its quality, this black soil is much more attractive for farming than similar land areas in Russia and Kazakhstan.

For example, Kazakhstan, which has recently been collecting record grain harvests, is still a zone of risky farming. Droughts, dry winds often occur here, severe frosts are common in winter, excluding the cultivation of winter cereals. Here, in a significant part of the territory, it is impossible to grow such a valuable food crop as corn and the like due to severe weather conditions.

On the contrary, Ukrainian farmland is ideal for the majority of food crops in demand on the world market. Therefore, the role of Ukrainian lands for food and human security will grow.

Already today, Ukraine is one of the world's food exporters. And soon there will be a serious struggle for the Ukrainian lands. From July 1, 2021, the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land was canceled in Ukraine. So far, only individuals with Ukrainian citizenship can buy land. But three years later, legal entities will be launched on the land market.

At the same time, a significant part of the Ukrainian lands, conventionally speaking, is "divided". It is leased from large agricultural holdings, which soon will most likely transfer the leased land into ownership under various schemes, including to close individuals.

Taking into account the passion of Armenian nationalists for foreign lands, it becomes clear why the representatives of the Armenian diaspora, who reached high positions in Ukraine, paid so much attention to the land issue. In particular, Yulia Tymoshenko, whose maiden name is Grigyan, has recently been at the forefront of the fight against lifting the moratorium on the sale of farmland, who has not managed to realize her goal - to become the president of Ukraine, and forced to be content with the status of the leader of a small faction in parliament. You can understand Tymoshenko because the financial capabilities of her Armenian friends in the conditions before she was in power were much more modest than those of their competitors. Therefore, Yulia Tymoshenko for a long time considered the opening of the land market inappropriate.

Arsen Avakov's rather strong positions in power allowed the Armenian lobby to "take part in the division of Ukrainian black soil." Moreover, they were interested in buying Ukrainian land indirectly through their people and Arsen Avakov's tribesmen in same Russia.

In Ukraine, everyone knows very well that, despite the formal "irreconcilable" rhetoric, there is a direct channel of communication between Avakov and his compatriot, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov-Kalantarov. At the same time, many not entirely clear things in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine are also explained by the fact that the Armenian lobby also tried to “profit” its interest.

The issue of access to Ukrainian land after the catastrophic defeat in the Second Karabakh War became relevant for the Armenian lobby. It became clear that many Armenians, the Armenian lobby, and Armenia would have to look for land for cheap bread, which they lost with the loss of land in Karabakh and around it and “another Armenian state”. Of course, all at once, there is also an active work on the Armenization of the Russian Krasnodar Territory and the Georgian Abkhazia occupied at the suggestion of the same Armenian lobby of the Russian Federation. In fact, another fifth column under Russia (the analogy with the Ottoman Empire is just the way to go). But work was also going on “on the Ukrainian field”. For example, businessmen close to Avakov began to actively increase the land bank, leasing more and more land. Among them, the agricultural holding A.G.R. Group of Misak Khidiryan.

The land issue, apparently in 2019, became one of the most significant with the support of the same Zelensky Avakov. It is no coincidence that after Zelensky was elected president, the post of governor of the Kyiv region was taken over by the ethnic Armenian Mikhail Bno-Ayriyan for some time. And in the short time of his governorship, the "Armenian" agro-company A.G.R. The Group was able to dramatically increase its land bank in the region.

Arsen Avakov's tenure as Minister of Internal Affairs gave the Armenian lobby colossal opportunities in buying and seizing Ukrainian agricultural lands. After all, it is no secret that the police in the province can do whatever they want, simply forcing the "uncompromising" owners or tenants of land to "give up a little" to other claimants for the land.

However, the fact is that not only representatives of the ancient long-suffering people are claiming the Ukrainian land. The largest transnational corporations, Ukrainian oligarchs, and another interesting category of citizens of those who have roots and origin from Ukraine, but today are citizens of other countries, also apply for it.

For example, almost the majority of Russian-speaking citizens of Israel in one way or another have ancestors from Ukraine, where there was a so-called "Pale of Settlement" during the years of the Russian Empire. In the context of instability in the Middle East, the number of such people, especially Israeli businessmen, whose grandparents lived in Ukraine is increasing. Indeed, according to the Ukrainian law on citizenship, those who were born in Ukraine or who had a father or mother, grandmother, or grandfather have the right to it. On the contrary, there are very few of them among the representatives of the Armenian ethnos.

But there is another loophole to get a Ukrainian passport - this is to issue a residence permit, live in Ukraine for five years, and then apply for citizenship. Naturally, within the framework of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, all this could be issued "retroactively" and the same Avakov could arrange for the issuance of Ukrainian passports to fellow tribesmen, bypassing the law. And also contribute to the "rounding" of land holdings of agricultural holdings with owners from the same nation.

But all this was well understood by the competitors, so serious forces were involved both at the level of the US State Department and the level of the Vatican. To remove Avakov from such a strategic resource. And they did it.

It is also ridiculous to read the arguments of some Moscow "analysts" that the new head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky is, they say, "Avakov's man." These people, apparently, are not aware of the Ukrainian realities and do not know who was officially his "only one of the same family" (and most likely a relative) Arkady Monastyrsky.

Wikipedia about this person, in particular, reports “Arkady Ilyich Monastyrsky - President of the Jewish Forum of Ukraine, Chairman of the Board of the Jewish Fund of Ukraine, Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. One of the founders of the public movement for the revival of Jewish culture in Ukraine. Died on October 15, 2017 ".

It is clear that the family ties of Monastyrsky Jr. and the late Arkady Ilyich Monastyrsky are not advertised, but they are, there is no doubt. After all, the surname Monastyrsky is not very common. And now the question is whether Denis Monastyrsky will work in the interests of Arsen Avakov or Israeli citizens with roots in Ukraine (whose repatriation was once facilitated by Arkady Monastyrsky, but who want to become citizens of Ukraine again and have the legal right to do so) and invest in the agricultural business? The answer is obvious.

Therefore, the attempt of the Russian Armenian lobby to feverishly "catch" actually "lost production" and gain access to Ukrainian lands is doomed to failure. Avakov and his Armenian compatriots were once again thrown by more serious geopolitical players. They thought that having played off two fraternal peoples, Russians, and Ukrainians, and has unleashed a war in Donbas, has created a precedent for the annexation of foreign territory in Crimea, they would, firstly, get a contender for their “Artsakh”, and secondly, they would have the opportunity to “get their hands on »Ukrainian lands, which are many times more attractive than the mountainous lands of Azerbaijani Karabakh. But in the end, the "big players" of the narrow-minded and cunning only "tactically" the Armenian nationalists were "thrown".

Neither Avakov nor Tymoshenko has any chances to return to big politics. They did their "dirty deed" and they are no longer needed. Let them say “thank you” that the process of establishing Armenian nationalists in foreign lands did not go too far and therefore did not arise hatred of the indigenous population towards the representatives of these people. Since, considering what kind of hatred Arsen Avakov was able to instill in the Ukrainians, this would also be quite possible.
