Kalantarov's Office officially supports the 'Javakhk' separatists

The new anti-Georgian demarche was staged by the Russian Foreign Ministry, headed by nationalist Sergei Lavrov-Kalantarov. On his website, another anti-Georgian document was published, directly supporting a new hotbed of separatism on the territory of Georgia, in addition to the territories of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region already occupied by the Russian Federation, from which most of the Georgian population was expelled, and concerning the few remaining Georgians, the separatist regimes are pursuing a policy of discrimination worse than apartheid ... It is about the actual support of the Kalantarovs for the Armenian "Javakhk" separatism in the Georgian region of Samtskhe-Javakheti.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation published a report entitled "On the Situation with Human Rights in Certain Countries", in which attention was paid to Georgia:

“The main problem of national minorities is still ignorance of the state Georgian language. After the Rose Revolution, the Georgian authorities introduced several laws restricting the use of minority languages and obliging non-indigenous ethnic groups to communicate with government officials in the georgian language. Thus, knowledge of the language is mandatory for employment in government agencies, passing a uniform exam in schools, and obtaining licenses for professional activities. Human rights activists note that the authorities are not creating the necessary conditions for learning the Georgian language. The situation of minorities is aggravated by the lack of effective mechanisms for their legal protection in Georgia. The Public Defender of Georgia also noted the problems of national minorities, while emphasizing the insufficiently effective measures taken by the local authorities in this area, the lack of educational resources, the lack of quality textbooks, and the inadequacy of specialized retraining of teachers. On the whole, the Georgian Ombudsman admitted that, despite the programs for studying the state language operating in the country, the number of people who know and use it is still small. When ratifying the Council of Europe Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities in 2005, Georgia made several reservations, according to which the state's obligation to provide ethnic communities with the opportunity to learn the Georgian language was reaffirmed, but the authorities' obligations to preserve the native languages of national minorities were not recognized. Because the participation of representatives of national minorities in the political life of Georgia remains low, representatives of ethnic diasporas express their desire for greater independence to independently make decisions in the field of education and culture and leverage over the country's policy. For example, the Armenian community has been raising the issue of autonomy for Samtskhe-Javakheti for a long time, and the Azerbaijanis from Kvemo-Kartli are demanding wide representation in local government bodies, where all the main posts are occupied by Georgians. These calls do not find support from the Georgian leadership, which regards them as an expression of separatist sentiments. In addition, attacks on the Armenian Apostolic Church have become more frequent in the Georgian media. After the adoption in 2011 of the Law on Free Registration of Religious Denominations in Georgia, there have been numerous cases of vandalism against Armenian churches."

To begin with, the cynicism of Kalantarov's department is simply off the charts on the issue of alleged "vandalism against Armenian churches". This is even though the Armenian and Armenian Catholic churches illegally claim 465 Georgian churches! This is even though Georgian churches in the Republic of Armenia, including the Khujabi monastery seized by the illegal movement of the border, have been destroyed, desecrated, and desecrated! And what about the attempt to seize the Georgian cathedral in Kumurdo by Armenian Javakhk separatists and nationalists in the fall of 2017? Whose side was there vandalism and violence?

Those. the report itself is clearly provocative and aimed precisely at inciting separatism.

There is no doubt that both the Russian special services and the Armenian lobby in Russia today actively support the separatists of Samtskhe-Javakheti. However, the question arises, why did Katantarov become so worried about the "autonomy" of Armenians in Samtskhe-Javakheti (which will inevitably grow into a demand for "independence of" Javakhk "from Georgia") right now?

The fact is that they are unable to "return time" and resume the occupation of Karabakh by Armenia, today they are trying to again make the so-called "status of Nagorno-Karabakh" a subject of negotiations. For those who have forgotten, we recall that the issue of the status of the Armenian-populated region of Nagorno-Karabakh was a subject of negotiations before the 2020 war.

Nevertheless, Sergei Lavrov-Kalantarov and the Armenian lobby are trying to "return the departed train" and again raise the issue of the so-called "status of Nagorno-Karabakh", and again start talking about some kind of "autonomy for the Armenians." And for this very purpose, they raise the issue of the autonomy of the Armenians of the Georgian Samtskhe-Javkheti. So that both there and there start talking about the notorious "autonomous status", and on occasion, of course, to organize an act of military revenge in Karabakh and aggression against Georgia with a separatist rebellion in Samtskhe-Javakheti.

But such games and tricks of Kalantarov and the Armenian lobby are easily miscalculated. Therefore, residents and citizens of Georgia and Azerbaijan of Armenian nationality must remember once and for all: no autonomy is provided for the separatists.

According to its Constitution, autonomy in Georgia is provided for Adjara and still-occupied Abkhazia. Moreover, in Abkhazia, it is provided, first of all, for the preservation of the Abkhaz people, now dying out under occupation and losing their identity, the brotherly Georgians of the Abkhaz people. But not for the Armenian nationalists, who were settled on foreign land, became the majority and are also going to cleanse it of Abkhazians, just as they previously, together with local separatists, cleansed it of Georgians.

It is interesting that, for some reason, “worrying” about the autonomy of the “Javakh” Armenian separatists, Katantarov hypocritically worries about the Azerbaijanis as well. Say, there are few of them in positions in local authorities.

It is necessary to tell Kalantarov right away that the citizens of Georgia and the Georgian and Azerbaijani nationalities themselves, without external "well-wishers", will figure out what nationality and how many people will be in local self-government bodies. And if Sergey Lavrov-Kalantarov is so “worried” about the Azerbaijanis, then he can insist that the Armenian government return the Azerbaijani population to their native land to the historic Iravan Khanate and Zangezur, where the indigenous Azerbaijani population was expelled from their native land to a single person. and many are killed.

Now, if Kalantarov achieves the return of Azerbaijani refugees home to the territory of the Republic of Armenia, and at the same time contributes to the transfer of Orthodox relics to the Georgian Orthodox Church located on the territory of the Republic of Armenia, then he can reason about the national composition of the leading personnel in the field. But here Kalantarov and his department, why don't they remember the Azerbaijanis of historical Western Azerbaijan expelled by his fellow tribesmen and don't even stutter about their return and "autonomy" for these people.
