Eight people have been killed in a hotel collapse in China and nine are being sought by rescuers.
According to media reports , the incident took place in the city of Suzhou. One of the hotels on the beach partially collapsed. According to local media, the 54-room three-storey hotel opened in 2018.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the collapse of the building.
