Nino Lomjaria arrives at Ninotsminda boarding house

Public Defender Nino Lomjaria arrived at Ninotsminda Children's Boarding School. The ombudsman is hosted by the new ruler of the boarding house, Bishop Iakob of Bodbe.

 

"I expect that we will be able to understand the current processes and also the infrastructural condition fully.

 

I came with some staff members who work in the field of children's rights, and we also have a child psychologist in case the children want to talk to us, and we are going to talk to them," said Nino Lomjaria.

 


It is the ombudsman's first visit to the boarding house since 2018. Until now, the ombudsman did not have the opportunity to monitor the shelter by the decision of the former manager of the boarding house.
