The main state for Armenians is Russia. Second - "Armenian" Abkhazia?

25.06.21 17:00

A very interesting opus “How Russia“ Lost Armenia ”and“ Lost to Turkey ”was written by Pyotr Akopov following the results of the recent parliamentary elections in Armenia, and the material would be immediately posted as on RIA Novosti (https://ria.ru/20210622/rossiya -1737967089.html) and on the website of the pro-Armenian publication "Sputnik Abkhazia" (https://sputnik-abkhazia.ru/columnists/20210622/1032672060/Kak-Rossiya-opyat-poteryala-Armeniyu-i-ustupila-Turtsii.html)...

Undoubtedly, the "geopolitical views" and predictions of Petr Akopov regarding Azerbaijan and Turkey do not stand up to criticism. Here the Armenian nationalist is clearly trying to pass off wishful thinking. However, the main message of Akopov is that the Armenians need to come to terms with the fact that their “great Armenia” is from now on in a different place. She, figuratively speaking, "migrated to the north." Here's a verbatim quote:

“The main state for Armenians is Russia. Moreover, this concerns not only the unconditional fact that it is our country that is the only guarantor of the existence of the Armenian state as such, but also the other side of the coin: the main state of Armenians is Russia since there are more Armenians here than in Armenia. Among them, there are those whose ancestors left their historical homeland centuries ago, but there are also many who moved to our country after the collapse of the Union and the formation of independent Armenia. All these years, the republic has survived thanks to Russia - its geopolitical and economic support and the support of the Armenian diaspora in Russia. You may like it or not, but this is a medical fact..."

Alas, for the Russian people, you can't argue here anymore. Under the aging and losing the former "political acumen" president, key government posts in the Russian Federation are occupied by ethnic Armenians - Mishustin and Lavrov (Kalantarov), state propaganda under the control of Simonyan, the key resort region of Russia - Krasnodar Territory is turning into "another Armenia" before our very eyes. Not to mention the fact that Russia has been imposed on an absolutely wild policy of support for separatism for a country with dozens of autonomies, which has quarreled it not only with Orthodox Georgia, but also with fraternal Ukraine (there are no people closer to Russians than Ukrainians, and in many ways, it is one and the same people). And everything is in the interests of the Armenian lobby, "obsessed" with the redrawing of borders.

However, there is a problem - although there are much more Armenians in Russia than in the Republic of Armenia proper, and in some places (in Sochi, for example) they have in fact become the majority. But on the scale of all of Russia, the Armenians will not become the majority. This country is too big, the non-Armenian population is too numerous here. In addition, for the Russian Armenians as well as for the Armenians of the Republic of Armenia, in order to maintain national cohesion and the proper level of nationalist psychosis, a fixed idea is needed about “another Armenian state near the“ main ”one. Similar to the idea of "Artsakh" for the Armenians of the Republic of Armenia, which was safely "buried" following the results of last year's war and the liberation of the Azerbaijani lands of Karabakh.

And they have such an unrecognized separatist non-state, which the Russian Armenians consider “theirs”. This is separatist Abkhazia, where the Armenians have already become the majority in control of the economy. Therefore, they may not be in a hurry for now and formally allow ethnic Abkhazians to occupy leading, but very few decisive, political posts in this non-state. The fate of which, while maintaining the separatist status, is predetermined - this is a rapid extinction and "concession" of land to the "ancient cultured people."

Many Armenian nationalists already see the occupied Georgian Abkhazia as their "base", on the basis of which they can increase their influence in Russia. Just as in Armenia the so-called. the Karabakh clan, based on the separatist "Artsakh" and the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Therefore, after the collapse of "Artsakh" and the defeat of the revanchists in the parliamentary elections in Armenia, the roles have changed - from now on "the main Armenian state is Russia." Well, the second, by analogy with Artsakh, is separatist Abkhazia.

It is no coincidence that the almost “programmatic” article about the “main state of the Armenians” by the same Peter Akopov was published not just anywhere but in the “Sputnik Abazia” publication. "The main state of the Armenians" is now Russia. Although it has not been said directly yet, it is assumed by default that in this case the occupied Georgian Abkhazia is called upon to become the “base and reserve” of the Armenians; Indeed, unlike the Republic of Armenia, it directly borders on the new “main state of Armenians”.
