Ruben Tatulyan takes control of the energy sector of Abkhazia and the Inguri HPP amid protests against the Namakhvani HPP

29.05.21 22:00

On May 23-24, in Tbilisi, actions were held against the construction of the Namakhvani hydroelectric power station on the Rioni River. And again, as with previous protests - both at the construction site of the Namakhavani hydroelectric power station and in Kutaisi and other cities where similar actions were organized, the provocateurs' intention to shift the discussions from the "purely ecological" to the political plane was clearly noticed. Anti-Turkish hysteria was kindled. The Turkish company ENKA was accused of absolutely fantastic intentions, up to the "inclusion in the Ottoman Empire" of the construction area.

Recall that Turkish companies have built and are building a lot in different countries and cities. In the same Moscow, they erected dozens of large-scale objects, but the capital of the Russian Federation seems to have not yet entered the Ottoman Empire. The construction and commissioning of the Namakhvani HPP cascade, with a capacity of 460 MW, will allow Georgia to refuse to import electricity and become its exporter.

Passions around the Namakhvati GEM distract attention from another, the largest energy facility in Georgia - the Inguri hydroelectric power station, which Georgia may lose altogether, along with the preparation for the annexation of the territory of Abkhazia by the Russian Federation.

Recall that immediately after the end of the Second Karabakh War on November 12, 2020, in Sochi, the separatist leaders of Abkhazia put their signatures under the so-called. "The program for the formation of a common social and economic space between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia based on the harmonization of the legislation of the RA and the Russian Federation." There are 45 points in the program, which are subject to adoption within three years, that is, until 2023, and all of them in fact lead to the annexation of separatist Abkhazia by the Russian Federation. Among other things, this program provides for amendments to the separatist law on energy, which so far prohibits the privatization of energy facilities with a capacity of more than 5 megawatts.

It is natural to ask Georgia whether it agrees to have its energy capacities sold by separatists and invaders, none of them intends to.

And it is already known who will take control of the energy sector in the separatist territory, including the capacity of the Inguri hydroelectric power station, which is partially located in the Gali region of Abkhazia. Here is information from one separatist "telegram-channel", set up in opposition to the current separatist government (https://t.me/apsuapoliticipidori/32). Here are excerpts by removing or mitigating obscene language:

“Here another insider has arrived,
Do you know who will be one of the main bosses of the Abkhazian energy sector after the victory of oligarchic capitalism in this matter? ... His Majesty Robson Tatulyan, King of the Abkhaz-Adygean lands occupied by the Russian-Armenian colonialists, who invested considerable funds in the [Bzhania] election campaign, including bribery of the Abkhaz Armenians, who until that moment were pro-Khadzhimbiski sentiments.
Get ready to pay a communal flat at least one and a half mowers a month."

Meanwhile, Ruben Tatulyan (nicknamed "Robson") is one of the illustrative "benefactors" of the separatist regime. This was especially noted last year by the leader of the Abkhaz Armenians, a former militant of the Baghramyan battalion Galust Trapizonyan:

“Ruben Tatulyan takes an active part in arranging football fields and gyms, providing Abkhaz footballers with uniforms. Participates in many humanitarian actions. Taking this opportunity, on behalf of the Armenian community, veterans of the "patriotic war of the people of Abkhazia" and myself, I would like to express gratitude and gratitude to Ruben Tatulyan for his activities for the benefit of society. " - noted the "good deeds" of fellow tribesman Galust Trapizonyan.

Naturally, Ruben Tatulyan helps the separatists for a reason, but for the separatist authorities to help him with the placement and resettlement of Armenians in Abkhazia. Social media users from separatist Abkhazia are already reporting that the large Armenian diaspora, with the help of Robson, is providing ethnic Armenians with homes on the Black Sea coast in Sukhumi, Gagra, and other areas of Abkhazia, as well as better lands.

As a result, more than half of the population of Abkhazia is already Armenians and their share is growing, the whole economy is already in their hands, except for the electric power industry, which, as a "state" one, is still under the control of the separatist authorities. And they are finishing off the power system of separatist Abkhazia at an accelerated pace by organizing a lot of "mining farms", which is why the worn-out power grids of Abkhazia simply cannot withstand overloads. It is clear that after the electricity grids and the Inguri hydroelectric power station privatize Tatulyan, the "shop" for the top of the Abkhaz separatists will be "covered" and only representatives of the "ancient people" will be allowed to earn money on mining as well as on the sale of electricity.

Let us recall that the capacity of the Inguri HPP is 1300 MW, which is almost 3 times more than the capacity of the Namakhvani HPP cascade. At the same time, by prior arrangement, 40% of the generated electricity can be taken by the Sukhumi separatists, but in reality, they take much more, sometimes more than half. Those. Ruben Tatulyan will be "presented" with the capacity of the Georgian electric power industry, exceeding the capacity of the Namakhvani hydroelectric power station. To make money by selling and mining it himself, and to equip new parties of Armenian settlers on the Georgian lands of Abkhazia.

But for some reason, none of those protesting against the construction of the Namakhvani hydroelectric power station is worried about this fact? Nobody raises them at rallies and actions. The provocateurs frighten the people with the mythical "threat of Turkish seizures", not saying a word about who was the source of the anti-Turkish campaign in Georgia. And it is fueled by the forces that are to blame for the fact that Georgia has already lost 20% of its territory and has hundreds of thousands of refugees.

It can be seen with the naked eye that the campaign against the construction of the Namakhvani hydroelectric power station is coordinated by the Armenian Kremlin lobby. Throwing in provocative slogans about the "Turkish threat" are those from whose submission the primordial Georgian land of Abkhazia has already been occupied, the Georgian population has been expelled from there, and the power facilities, which are partially under the control of the invaders and separatists of the Inguri hydroelectric power station, are already preparing to transfer them to Ruben Tatulyan. Ruben Tatulyan is consistently implementing plans to tear Abkhazia away from Georgia forever, populating it with Armenians.

The return of Abkhazia and the end of its occupation automatically resolves the issue of illegal use of the Inguri hydroelectric power station generation in the interests of the corrupt separatist elite and its real “puppeteer” Ruben Tatulyan. The Inguri hydroelectric power station should work in the interests of the citizens of Georgia, including the Abkhazians, who in the future, if Abkhazia is taken over by Tatulyan and his fellow tribesmen, will finally face expulsion as an ethnic group. But instead of fighting for the de-occupation of Abkhazia, the provocateurs artificially direct the attention of Georgians to false "goals", forcing them to fight against an investment project that is very beneficial for the Georgian economy.
