Georgia reports 1,390 new cases of coronavirus, 18 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 38,468 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 27,651 antigen tests and 10,817 PCR tests.

 

As a result of the testing, 1,390 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 327,831.

 

As of May 13, the daily positive rate is 3.61%, for the last 14 days - 5.35%, and for 7 days - 4.40%. In the last 24 hours, 1,070 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 307,334. 18 new deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 4,397 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

 

Out of 1,390 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 790 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 117, Imereti - 168, Kvemo Kartli - 54, Shida Kartli - 41, Guria - 39, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 73, Kakheti - 42, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 19, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 16, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 31.
