Ekaterine Tikaradze: Every 100 infection equals one death

We should know that every 100 infected person equals one death, - said the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, while talking to journalists about the statistics of coronavirus deaths in the country.


As Tikaradze explains, it is important to reduce the spread of infection in order to save the lives of citizens.

 

 

"We need to know that for every 100 infected person equals one death. That is why I have pointed out that prevention is important, since the worldwide lethality of Covid infection is 1-2%.

 

Of course, this is an alarming figure. The goal is to reduce the spread of infection so that we can save the lives of each of our citizens", - Tikaradze said.
