She is clearly represents a side and cannot make herself an unifier, I think it's inconceivable for her to play the role of mediator, - Zurab (Girchi) Japaridze, the leader of Girchi - More Freedom told Palitranews TV in connection with President Zurabishvili's statement about her role as mediator in the negotiation process.
According to him, it is difficult to respect any institution in Georgia, because all institutions are in the hands of one person.
"I think she now decided to play the role of the father or mother of the nation and pretend to be a unifier, but he will not succeed. She clearly represents a side and cannot make herself an unifier. Respect for institutions depends on the figures who represent these institutions and it is very difficult to respect any in this country today - when you know that all institutions are in the hands of one person and all people are appointed by one person. It is difficult, it cannot be an honest thing, it is a lie", - Japaridze said.
For reference, President Salome Zurabishvili said that there must be a time when the President of Georgia and Georgia itself will be a mediator in its political processes.
