Georgia reported 742 coronavirus cases, 1 081 recoveries, and 12 deaths on Wednesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 340 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 89 cases and the Kakheti region with 75 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 255 564, among them 245 527 people recovered and 3 108 died.
There are 497 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 842 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 347 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, there are 670 critical patients, among them, 177 require mechanical ventilation.
