NCDC Head sees stabilization in epidemiological situation
The epidemiological situation continues to stabilize in Georgia, the Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) declared.
Amiran Gamkrelidze said the positivity rate dynamics highly matters in evaluating the epidemiological situation.
“The positivity rate for today is 5.8%. For the last three to four days, the percentage of positivity ranged between four and six percent. It stood at 6% for the last seven days and at 7.1% for the last 14 days. We have a decreasing positivity rate,” Gamkrelidze claimed.
