The next most important step that the Georgian government will have to take is, of course, the opening of education and, first of all, primary education institutions, - the Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council.

 

He said that as soon as the epidemiological rate drops below 4%, everything will be done to make the educational institutions operational.

 

"We understand very well what it means for schoolchildren and their parents to stay home for long periods of time and not to have the opportunity to be physically present in the classrooms. As soon as the epidemiological situation allows us, and as soon as the rate drops below 4%, of course, we will do our best to activate quickly an extremely important area, especially for our children," - said Giorgi Gakharia.
