According to Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of "Lelo", the resumption of cases against political leaders in court is a direct pressure and serves the purpose of influencing political parties.

 

Khazaradze spoke about it in the program "Newsroom".

 

"Yesterday several political leaders were called suddenly, at the same time - one day they remembered that their court hearings would be resumed. This is already a direct pressure. You could do all this after 10 days, if there is such a need, but it is a direct pressure to influence political parties. I stand where I think is right today. The right thing to do today is to break the ugly system that has been established in Georgia. We are under one-man government, all institutions are owned, I am not talking about democratic institutions, but the judiciary, the prosecutor's office, everything is owned by one person and it is unfortunate that our state has not become a creator of a positive agenda, but also a hopeless country", - Mamuka Khazaradze said.
