The US (12 778 256 cases; 262 283 deaths ) ranks first in terms of the spread of COVID-19 and mortalities caused by the coronavirus, followed by India (9 266 705 cases; 135 223) and Brazil (170 769 cases).
France, Russia, Spain, the UK and Italy are also the worst virus-hit countries
