Economy Minister welcomes joint project of MIR Corporation, National Geographic aiming to promote tourism in Georgia

It’s important that in cooperation with the National Geographic tourists will arrive from the US, Canada and New Zealand, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava said on Monday.

 

As InterPressNews was informed by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Minister Turnava positively evaluated the joint project of the US tour operator MIR Corporation and the National Geographic, aiming to bring travelers from native English-speaking countries and offer them special travel services.

 

“This is of vital importance for us, especially in recent days, when tourism in Georgia is facing a challenge. Therefore, it’s important that tourists will arrive from the US, Canada and New Zealand under the auspices of the National Geographic and we will host them with great pleasure, “ Minister Turnava said.
