According to Deputy Foreign Minister, Lasha Darsalia, after the materials were handed over to the Azerbaijani side, they no longer had an official meeting with them, therefore, as Darsalia says, the Azerbaijani position will be announced at the meeting of the commissions.
"We have handed over the materials and the Azerbaijani side is most likely studying it, therefore, the position will be announced directly at the meetings of the commissions. After this interaction, there was no official meeting between the Georgian and Azerbaijani sides. There were works under way speifically on this documentation with the involvement of Azerbaijani side, including in late September when the materials were handed over. This is an internal affair of Georgia, both of our representatives agreed and emphasized that the work of the commissions is, of course, a sensitive topic but it is carried out and will continue in a format that is befitting to Georgian-Azerbaijani relations. I do not see any precondition on either side for anyone to turn this process into a matter of tension", - Darsalia said.
