Irakli Sesiashvili: There are no biological threats in Georgia

According to the Chairman of the Committe on Defense and Security, Irakli Sesiashvili, an attack on the Lugar Lab is part of Russia's hybrid war.

He said the aim of the above was to discredit the Georgia-US relations.

"The Lugar Lab is unique not only in Georgia, but in the Transcaucasia and it only serves the helth system.

We periodically see the intentional attacks of Russia's representatives on this lab. These are disinformation-based statements aimed at discrediting the Georgia-US relations and proving that there are biological threats in Georgia, which is absurd. This is part of Russia's hybrid war and we, as well as the embassy of the United States, have made a number of clear statements about it', said Sesiashvili.
