According to Levan Ratiani, the director of the First University Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University, the condition of the patients injured in the accident on Shatili Road is still serious, but the dynamics is positive.

 

As Ratiani stated, the patients will have to go through a very difficult road before recovering. According to him, the medical staff is doing everything to save their lives.

 

"Two patients had their injuries liquidated. Their condition at this stage remains severe, albeit with positive dynamics. Second clinical-laboratory studies do not reveal any negative dynamics, however, I would like to tell you that they will have to go through a very diffucult road before the recovery. The medical staff of our clinic is doing everything to save the lives of all three injured", - stressed Ratiani.

 

For the record, on August 23, in Dusheti Municipality, a minibus fell from a height of 80 meters on Shatili road. As a result of the accident, 17 people died and 3 were injured.
