PM Gakharia announces a 100 million GEL grant auction to complete the unfinished constructions

As PM Giorgi Gakharia stated at the government session, the unfinished constructions distort not only Tbilisi, but also many other cities.

 

"Today we announce a grant auction of 100 million GEL, which means that we insure the unfinished constructions in the country in every possible way. As you know, we started stimulating mortgages in response to the economic crisis in order to strengthen and support the construction business. In order not to hinder the Georgian families who had certain savings to improve their living conditions, we have started to subsidize the interest on mortgage loans, but this is not enough. Today, we are putting up for auction 100 million GEL to ensure that no construction remains unfinished. We all remember what happened during the crisis of 2008-2009. The unfinished constructions from this period distort not only the capital, but also many other cities, in addition to creating huge social problems for our citizens who have already made the first payment", - stated Giorgi Gakharia.
