According to the head of the National Tourism Administration Mariam Kvrivishvili, testing is being carried out at the airports on a selective basis.

As Kvrivishvili clarified at the press conference after the meeting of the Coordination Council, according to the current data, the results of all tests performed on the coronavirus are negative.

"It is a good and positive trend that there is a massive increase in foreign citizens entering our country for tourism purposes. We would like to inform you that testings are being carried out on a selective basis at the airports. The infrastructure is arranged by the state in order to have a comfortable testing regime for all people who enter our country. Based on these tests, we are pleased to inform you that all the samples taken at this stage are COVID negative, which allows us to look very positively at the following period", - stated Kvrivishvili.
