A total of 261,000 euros to be spent on partial subsidy for charter flights

Due to the restrictions imposed on international flights, a total of 261,000 euros (equivalent in GEL) will be spent on partial subsidy for the charter flights. The respective information has been posted on the Legislative Herald. The decree of the government is signed by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

 

„LEPL - Georgian National Tourism Administration shall provide partial subsidies for the relevant charter flights due to restrictions on international flights against the spread of coronavirus. Implementation of quarantine and other measures related to the new coronavirus. No more than 261,000 euros in total shall be allocated from state budget”, reads the decree.

 

Charter flights will be operated by Wizz Air and MyWay Airlines in July.
