Vakhtang Gomelauri and Toivo Klaar discuss challenges across occupied territories

Vakhtang Gomelauri, Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs and Toivo Klaar, European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Crisis in Georgia discussed challenges across occupied regions of Georgia.

 

During the meeting, the sides also talked about the active support of western partners regarding security and humanitarian concerns across the occupied territories.

 

Minister of Internal Affairs stressed the illegal restriction of free movement of locals and detention of Georgian citizens on charges of illegal crossing of the so-called border.
