Tbilisi Mayor: Wearing face masks in public transport is mandatory and our population must take it into account

I would like I population to understand that wearing face masks in buses and metro is mandatory and they must take in into account, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said today at the meeting of the municipal government today.

 

He reiterated that by the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council on COVID -19 all types of municipal transport will be reopened from May 29.

 

„While we have started gradual reopening, we need to take care of each other as much as possible, we need to protect all the demands and recommendations as much as possible. All types of municipal transport, including metro, buses, and micro-buses will be reopened from May 29. I would like to reiterate that humans, their lives, and health are core values for us. I would like our population to know that wearing face masks will be mandatory in metro, buses, and microbuses and people must take it into account,” the mayor said.
