22.05.20 18:00

According to Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani, ambassadors to NATO and Geneva will exchange their positions. Zalkaliani made this announcement at the briefing held at the Governmental Chancellery.

According to the Minister, the Ambassador of Georgia to Geneva will be Alexandre Maisuradze, who in turn will be replaced by Victor Dolidze in NATO.

"We will have new ambassadors. Alexandre Maisuradze, our Ambassador to NATO, has completed his term of office. We decided to use his experience in international relations. So he will continue to work in Geneva, while our Ambassador to Geneva, Victor Dolidze, will take on his position in NATO. Mr. Victor does not need to be introduced, you know him very well. He is a highly experienced diplomat, he was also the State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Member of Parliament and Chair of an important Committee.

We will also have a new ambassador to Vienna’s international organization. It will be Ketevan Tsikhelashvili. I think her experience in this direction will be extremely important," Zalkaliani said.
