Ukraine will resume flights to Georgia from July 1, Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Vladislav Krikli wrote on his Facebook page after an online meeting with Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.
According to Minister Krikli, Ukraine has begun talks with the governments of various countries on the resumption of international flights.
"From July 1, we plan to launch the first flights between Georgia and Ukraine," he wrote.
Natia Turnava, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, held an online meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine two days ago. According to the Ministry of Economy of Georgia, apart from the resumption of direct air flights, issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in other fields of the economy were also discussed during the meeting.
