The sooner you release Giorgi Rurua, the faster you can end the blind alley you entered of your own will, Irakli Okruashvili, leader of the "Victorious Georgia" party, wrote on the social network, addressing to the ruling Georgian Dream party.

 

He said that the longer the Georgian Dream continues to demonize Rurua, the more difficult it finds to explain to voters when he will still be released from prison.

 

"The more arguments you present to justify our release, the more annoyed your supporters are,” Okruashvili wrote.

 

“I call on you to release Rurua, make constitutional changes and this hysteria will be finished. Then, call us whatever you want : political criminals or spies or robbers, ”Okruashvili said.
