Police detain person accused of murdering his own mother and neighbours

The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained N.G. (DoB 1963) in Kandaura village for premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances.

 

As the Interior Ministry said, an investigation established that on May 3, 2019, on the basis of conflict, detainees inflicted severe injuries with the firearm to his family members and neighbors.

 

On July 20, 2019, N.G. was declared as wanted. As a result of operative-search and investigative activities, law enforcers detained N.G. in his own house. Police have already seized the supposed weapons of crime as evidence.

 

The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against family members, article 111-10, II part, sub-paragraph “F” and III part, sub-paragraph “A”.

 

The committed crime envisages from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.
