According to Zurab Lipartia, deputy head of the National Food Agency, disinfection measures will be taken in Marneuli and Bolnisi municipalities tomorrow.
"The National Food Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture will organize the disinfection process. The main equipment for this work is already coming from western Georgia. Currently, vehicles leaving the municipality are being disinfected on the border, while tomorrow we will start disinfecting the areas visited by the infected woman," Lipartia told reporters at the Marneuli checkpoint.
Every person wishing to enter the Marneuli municipality undergoes a special medical examination. Only those registered in the Marneuli municipality can enter the area and they will not be able to leave the area for two weeks.
