According to Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, at present, the health system is in good shape to adequately respond to challenges.

 

As the Prime Minister stated at the briefing after the meeting of the Inter-Agency Council against Coronavirus, we are moving from the stage of stopping the epidemic to the stage of the spread of the infection.

 

“It is of fundamental importance that we are moving to the stage of the spread of the epidemic. This transition is very important. We have to be ready. This primarily applies to the health care system. The readiness of the health care system means that it must be fully prepared to serve an increasing number of patients. The relevant instructions have been issued today. The health care system is in very good shape today to withstand challenges and to respond to them adequately,” Gakharia said.
