We support strong, European standards for the upcoming elections, - French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas said in response to a question asked by the authorities and the opposition.

 

The ambassador hopes that "negotiations between the government and the opposition will be successful and it will be possible to hold the best possible elections."

 

“I do not want to comment directly on Georgia's domestic policy. However, first of all, we, I would like to support the conduct of the forthcoming elections in accordance with the highest European standards. We hope that these negotiations will be successful and it will be possible to hold the best possible elections. We support strong European standards for the upcoming elections. We support successful negotiations. And in general, we support that all political forces work together to ensure that the next elections are held in the best possible way,” said French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas.
