A Georgian delegation led by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia will participate in the Munich Security Conference (MSC).
As the Georgian PM’s Press Office says, during the working visit, the Head of Government will attend the opening session of the 56th Munich Security Conference. Giorgi Gakharia will also hold high-level bilateral meetings within the scope of the conference.
The 56th Munich Security Conference will take place at Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich from February 14 to 16.
French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will attend the MSC for the first time.
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is set to open the conference. Other leaders will come from China, Japan, and India.
The WHO Director-General will join the conversation on Coronavirus at MSC 2020.
As foreign media says, more than 35 heads of state or government, as well as over 100 foreign and defense ministers, are expected at the conference.
