The photos were taken by 55-year-old Lithuanian painter and sculptor Saulius Paukstys.

The images combine historical memory and present-day testimony of photography, - the National Museum of Georgia reports.
The photos, depicting the architecture of the Lithuanian capital show the buildings from the medieval epoch were printed by a unique Van Dyke technology.
The technology includes coating a handmade paper with silver nitrate emulsion and further exposition to ultraviolet light.
