Irakli Kobakhidze to be elected as Vice-President of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe

Irakli Kobakhidze, the MP of Parliamentary majority, is running for the post of Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

 

The voting will take place in Strasbourg at the winter session of the Council of Europe.

 

The Delegation of the Parliament of Georgia participates in the Parliamentary Assembly session of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Irakli Kobakhidze is the head of the delegation.

 

Davit Zalkaliani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in the framework of Georgia's chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, will address the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly in Strasbourg.

 

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Zalkaliani will present a report to the Parliamentary Assembly. The Minister will also discuss the priorities of Georgia's chairmanship, address critical issues at the Council of Europe and answer questions from members of the Parliamentary Assembly.

 

Salome Zurabishvili, the President of Georgia, will deliver a speech at the Parliamentary Assembly tomorrow.
