International Green Week Berlin is one of the most important international exhibitions in the food, agriculture and gardening industries and has been held since 1926.

About 1,500 national and international exhibitors present their unique regional products and services in a total of 26 exhibition halls annually.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Georgian Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Khatia Tsilosani.

Khatia Tsilosani has held meetings with the Agriculture Ministers of Lithuania, Estonia, and Belarus regarding the certification and irrigation of phytosanitary, veterinary, seed and planting materials.

Tsilosani mentioned that cooperation between Georgia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Belarus will continue in the future.

Georgia has been participating in the event for 11 years. From the beginning, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia shared one stand to present three countries. The countries began to present themselves separately starting in 2012.
