In Georgia, the number of new cases of flu decreased slightly in a week.

 

Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the Center for Disease Control, spoke about the statistics of last week.

 

According to the current data, which reflects last week's figures, the number of new cases of flu in Georgia is 216 per 100,000 population. Last week, there were 219 cases per 100,000 population.

 

He said that 66 percent of labs come with advanced B viruses, followed by "A" viruses, including H3 and H1.

 

Amiran Gamkrelidze emphasizes the importance of vaccination for kindergartens. According to him, about 17,000 people were vaccinated in this group, which is very important in preventing the spread of flu infection in gardens.

 

According to him, for the first time this year 19,000 people with diabetes and up to 29,000 medical staff were vaccinated.
