Georgian-Japan business forum held in Tbilisi to deepen business ties

The Georgia-Japan Business Forum is taking place today in Tbilisi to discuss business and risk management opportunities in Georgia, as well as Japanese support and future plans that will deepen business ties between the two countries.

 

Representatives of more than 100 Georgian and more than 30 Japanese companies are participating in the business forum. In addition, among the participating companies there are companies which are interested in the investment potential of Georgia including Toyota, Mitsubishi, Tepco, and Itochu.  

 

The business forum was opened by Nikoloz Alavidze, the Deputy Minister of Economy, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexandre Khvtisishvili and Japanese Ambassador to Georgia Tadaharu Uehara.

 

Today's business forum is the fifth event attended by Georgian and Japanese companies and business circles.
