It is important that the issue of boycott be written more clearly in the regulations of the Parliament of the next convocation, and there should be no reason for some opposition members to take their salary without going to work, - the Chairman of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili responded with this statement to the decision of the opposition to announce a boycott for the plenary sessions of the current week.

As Papuashvili said at the Bureau session, the opposition uses the political boycott for holidays."Boycott does not mean that someone is too lazy to go to work and therefore writes that he does not come, or he does not like someone or something, or he is in a bad mood or has some political reasons. Boycott refers to not attending the session because of the issue under discussion. In its essence, this should mean not attending some part of the plenary session, when this issue is discussed", said Shalva Papuashvili.
