Irakli Chikovani: Defence Ministry has plan to increase Georgia's compatibility with NATO

12.04.24 10:56

Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani stated that the Georgian Defence Ministry has a particular plan in place to increase the nation’s compatibility with NATO.

When asked if the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence will impede Georgia’s relations with NATO, Chikovani responded, “In terms of relations with NATO, we are at a historical peak. Practically, none of the states have the mechanisms of cooperation that Georgia and NATO do.

“We demonstrate our collaboration by participation in certain joint exercises and activities. So there should be no question here,” Chikovani said.
