First of all, I would like to thank you for your interest in the problem of pensioners and loans secured by pension, it is really important for us. In general, as not only the acting president of the National Bank, but also as an ordinary citizen, I would like to remind you that the social status and living conditions of pensioners, this group of society, are very important to us - Natia Turnava said this during her speech in the parliament as an interpellation.
"We, as the National Bank, are constantly working in our part to strictly implement all the necessary mechanisms provided for by the legislation and all the guarantees in the protection of their rights," said Turnava.
The Acting President of the National Bank also thanked the MPs who cooperated with the NBG in the format of a working group on this topic.
We remind you that pensioners will have a reduced interest rate on loans taken until 2023. In total, we are talking about more than 150,000 loans.
Today, in the parliament, the deputies are listening to Natia Turnava, the acting president of the National Bank, in the manner of interpellation.
Based on the authority granted by the first paragraph of Article 149 of the Regulation of the Parliament of Georgia, 7 MPs Aleksandre Elisashvili, Teona Akubardia, Iago Khvichia, Aleksandre Rakviashvili, Herman Sabo, Vakhtangi Megrelishvili and Ketevan Turazashvili addressed Natia Turnava through interpellation.
