To tell the truth, we don't even care if Salome Zurabishvili will sign the appointment of the Prime Minister, as the appointment of Irakli Kobakhidzeas the Prime Minister will come into force anyway, Georgian Dream MP Givi Mikanadze said while talking to journalists.

According to him, pursuant to the relevant article of the constitution, it does not matter whether the President signs the appointment of the Prime Minister or not, and the appointment of Irakli Kobakhidze to the position of the Prime Minister will come into force anyway.

He also spoke about the President's initiative relating to the creation of the "Platform of Unity for Europe" and noted that "those people with whom she has already started active consultation will not be perceived as a neutral force in the society."

"We have been talking for months that Salome Zurabishvili is preparing, in fact, to resign after some time and join one of the camps, which she is now organizing as an organizational headquarters, and she wants to present herself as an independent player, a new force, although her own narrative and her own activities makes it clear whose interests she represents. Those people with whom he has already started active consultation cannot be perceived as a neutral force in society. These are people who are directly representatives of the National Movement. Accordingly, we are not interested in whether such a person will sign the appointment of Irakli Kobakhidze or not," said Mikanadze.
