Shalva Papuashvili: Our goal is to approve the new government of Georgia by the end of the next week

According to the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, the congress of Georgian Dream will be held tomorrow, where the new chairman of the party will be elected, and the candidate for the prime minister will be presented at the political council session.

 

According to him, their goal is to approve the new government of Georgia by the end of the first week of the opening of the spring session.

 

"Tomorrow, the main task of the party congress is to elect a new chairman of the party, and the session of the political council will be held, where the candidacy of the prime minister will be presented. So, tomorrow is an important day, not only for Georgian Dream, but also for the Georgian society and for Georgia. The relevant decisions that will be made tomorrow. Tomorrow there is a political council, after the political council there will be a congress and all the issues that are of interest to our society will be officially presented.

 

As for the approval of the new government and the government program, after the prime minister is presented and approved at the political council, the procedure will then move to the Parliament, where the faction will present the candidate for the prime minister, so that we will have a newly approved government by the end of next week," Papuashvili said.
