Rati Ionatamishvili: 10 months before the elections, the opposition is very scared and worried

10 months before the elections, the opposition is very scared and worried - as the elections get closer, this fear will increase even more, - Georgian Dream MP Rati Ionatamishvili said.

According to him, the opposition will lose the parliamentary elections, which will be a well-deserved defeat for them, and a beneficial result for the country.

As Ionatamishvili pointed out in this context, "the opposition fought against the European integration process and opposed the Georgian Church, thereby they created political anathema to themselves".

"It is a fact that the support of Georgian Dream is 60%. It is also a fact that we have a weak opposition. If our voters, including the opposition voters, do not like anyone or anything in our country, it is the opposition.

Such a result is well-deserved, because the opposition was not only against Georgian Dream, but against our state and church, which has been their main agenda all these years. If they are surprised by the results, they should look for the reason within themselves", said Rati Ionatamishvili.
