The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the death of a Georgian citizen was confirmed as a result of the explosion in Baku.

 

As the agency told "InterpressNews", the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Azerbaijan is in contact with the family members of the deceased.

 

"The fact of the death of a Georgian citizen has been confirmed. "The Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Azerbaijan is in contact with the family members of the deceased," the information states.

 

To remind you, a strong explosion occurred in one of the workshops in the Binagad district of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. As a result, 7 people died and 24 were injured.

 

According to Azerbaijani media, it is not yet known what caused the explosion.
