What was the reason for the deaths of Abkhazians? Was it to transform Pitsunda (Bichvinta) and Abkhazia into Kremlin dachas?

29.12.23 10:00

The anticipated outcome has occurred. The majority of the Pitsunda resort is now under neither Abkhazian ownership nor control. The puppet separatist 'parliament' in Sukhumi approved the final transfer of Pitsunda to the Kremlin on the morning of 27 December 2023. 28 out of 25 so-called 'deputies' voted in favor, including those who claim to be 'patriots of Abkhazia' and 'prepared to die for the Abkhazian land'.

Protests by the Abkhazian public took place throughout the night and morning in front of the 'parliament' building in Sukhumi. The opinion of the people of occupied Abkhazia is not being considered by those in power.

It is worth noting that the Kremlin annexed Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia to Russia last year through a fake 'referendum', despite not having control over the region. However, it is important to note that subjective evaluations have been excluded from this text. The Kremlin has been ruling Abkhazia for a long time and has been doing so with a sense of entitlement. It is important to maintain a balanced perspective and avoid biased language. The text has been edited for grammatical correctness and adherence to conventional structure and format.

Abkhazians need to reflect on the reasons behind the loss of lives during the 1992-1993 war. The conflict was instigated by the Kremlin and Hay lobby and resulted in the loss of land. The language used in the original text was biased and emotional, and therefore, the improved version aims to be more objective and neutral.

It is crucial to prevent further occupation of Abkhazia beyond Pitsunda. Additional territories in Abkhazia will be used as summer residences for Russian officials. The remaining land will be given to Hay migrants, who are now the majority in Abkhazia.

The Kabardino-Circassian-Adygean volunteers from the North Caucasus died for what?  These are representatives of peoples who, like the Abkhazians, were victims of genocide by the Russian Empire in the 19th century. Was it to help their Abkhazian brothers preserve their land?  The top of the empire, albeit reduced and degenerated, took over Abkhazian lands.

Where are the North Caucasian 'volunteers' who appeared in Abkhazia in 1992, immediately after the start of the separatist war? What happened to the so-called 'confederation of mountain peoples of the Caucasus' that was once praised as 'formidable'? Where are the Circassians, Adygeans, and Kabardins? Why aren't they helping their Abkhazian brothers defend their land from the real threat of losing it forever? Why aren't their voices being heard?

Unfortunately, the North Caucasian youth is not currently able to assist Abkhazia.  Volunteers and many more individuals from Kabarda, Circassia, and Adygea, who were mobilized into the Russian army as 'cannon fodder', are now dying on the Ukrainian front. This is being done for the interests of the empire that exterminated their grandfathers and great-grandfathers.

The Kremlin masters do not need Abkhazians or North Caucasians at their 'dachas' in enslaved Abkhazia, even as 'servants'. The economy of the 'appropriated land' will be organized by Hay settlers.

Abkhazians should recognize that only by reconciling with the Georgian people can they survive as an ethnic group and preserve their land.
