Beka Liluashvili: We call on the authorities to increase the threshold to the historical maximum, moreover, they may even triple the existing one - the rating of Dream is at the historical minimum

We call on the authorities to increase the threshold to the historical maximum, moreover, they may even triple the existing one - the rating of Dream is at the historical minimum, they cannot disguise the fear and trembling tone that can be read in Kobakhidze's statements, - said MP Beka Liluashvili, a member of the For Georgia party.

As he noted, Georgian Dream is developing a narrative as if the opposition spectrum is going to unite around the National Movement, which is speculation.

"For the last week, we have been watching how Dream develops a fraudulent narrative, for which it uses the falsified survey results of its pocket organization GORBI and the issue of the barrier. They develop the following logic - "How is the opposition, which has a barrier problem, going to defeat the government, i.e. they are going to unite with the National Movement. This is a fraudulent narrative. We call on the authorities to increase the threshold to the historical maximum, they also remember the 7 percent threshold in this country, moreover, if they want the may even triple it to 15 percent, no one is afraid of their speculative narrative. On the contrary, they are using all this to mask the fear associated with the real results of their survey, where Dream has a rating at an all-time low.

You cannot disguise the fear and the trembling tone that can be read in Kobakhidze's statements and it directly shows the strength of our party. He mentions Gakharia in every three words. In the 2021 elections, we saw how the Dream was on the verge of losing power and they had to bring Saakashvili to the country to consolidate voters on their side. You can't scare anyone with this political threat, you can take a step because of this fear and Saakashvili can be released from prison before the elections, but you won't achieve anything and you will lose power in the 2024 elections," Liluashvili said.
